The Next Generation... Already Corrupted...

Teens are the next generation. They are the future. But they are rebellious, lazy, egocentric, irresponsible, and totally focused on trivial things like fashion, material things, socializing, etc. Then there are the worst ones of all who give into peer pressure and all want to look & dress alike, are  cliquish and are cruel kids who disrespect authority and make fun of the less popular kids.   Then you have all the subgroups such as jocks, nerds, goths, punks, skaters, emos, cheerleader/pageant queens, etc.

Now, I'm not saying that things were going great before everything seemed to be about sex, drugs, violence, drinking, but what I am saying is that in our day and age kids are making less and less decisions from their conscience and instead look at the Media to see what is considered cool. The Media is a powerful force rather we choose to believe that or not. It can be used to promote good behaviors, but more often than not it is used to advertise things such as alcohol and how it makes you look gorgeous and popular.
The more corrupted they are, the easier it is for me to take control. So if you thought taking over the next generation would be harder, you sadly mistaken. This "kill" will be easier than ever.

Less Privacy, More Control

Privacy? Absolutely not. There is too much as it is. I believe more surveillance mechanisms need to be in place. I have come to the conclusion that less privacy gives me more control. With privacy, comes secrets, and with secrets comes plotting, and any plotting against me is highly dangerous. Not for me, but for them. It is impossible to over throw me, and if you try , no one will ever know you attempted, let along existed.
As for the 21st century, if they expect more privacy, they are sadly mistaken. Everything you want you need to earn it. Once you earn my trust, then you get privacy. I don't trust anyone now, and never will. As i said before, I would love to install fingerprint scanning from 50 feet away to help me "get to know" my faithful followers. Telescreens and Thought Crime Police aren't enough. I know some of Oceania is still intrigued to think wrongful thoughts, and commit crimes punishable by death.

Techcology is Ignorance, and Ignorance is Strength

Ignorance is Strength...

Technology is for the simple minded, ignoramuses who don't want to think for themselves. If my nation wants to depend on a manufactured brain, rather than their own, that's perfectly fine. But let me be the manufactured brain that thinks, speaks, and acts for my nation. It’s safer that way. I could keep them out of harm’s way. If anyone discovered the TRUE past, they would be hurt, confused beyond compare. But since I have them rapped around finger, they are utterly imprudent to what’s happening. I control all technology that feeds into the inhabitants of Oceania’s mind.

Technology allows me to closely watch my nation. Although they may disagree with the surveillance cameras, quite frankly I don’t care. As I say, it’s for your own good. Well technically it’s for my benefit, but they don’t know that nor should they care. As Big Brother, I believe I should set in place more surveillance techniques such as capturing fingerprints from 50 feet away, and installing face reading software on every street corner. These new installments will help me “get to know” my people who tend to trust me, but always doubt me. Because of their doubts, I have to watch them. It’s the only way to keep me in control and them under my control.

                         Keeping them under control, is keeping me in control.

The Reason For My Lies

I Am Propaganda, 
Because of me, they obey the rules and regulations. It's more so of filling them with fear, than persuading them to follow. If I gave them a choice I wouldn't be Big Brother of a nation, I'll just be Big Brother of a select few who are stupid enough to follow me. Of course they don't know that, I have them believing in one thing, when its actually the other. That's why I had The Party create the contradicting ministries. The purpose of the ministries is to enable glittering generalities (my favorite type of propaganda). The Ministry of Peace supports Oceania's perpetual war. The Ministry of Plenty publishes false claims of having raised the standard of living, when it has, in fact, reduced rations, availability, and production. The Ministry of Truth controls information: "rectifying" historical records to concord with my current pronouncements, thus everything the Party says is true. The Ministry of Love identifies, monitors, arrests, and converts real and imagined dissidents. The bandwagon technique of propaganda is much needed if I continue to be the mind, heart, and soul, of this nation I have single-handedly undermined.
